President

Cathy is employed by First Energy Solutions as the Director of Operations and Logistics. In her first term with the SHDC Board, she brings extensive past experience as a Board Member with Weaver Industries.


Boyd M. Marsh Boyd M. Marsh
Vice President

Boyd brings various perspectives to the SHDC Board. He is retired as Health Commissioner from the Summit County Health District. He also serves on the Ardmore Foundation Board, and has an adult daughter in a residential home in Summit County.


Loma Swett
Trustee

Loma L. Swett is a partner in Stark & Knoll Estate Planning & Probate Group. Her practice areas include estate planning and administration, elder law, guardianships and estate planning for the disabled.


Janine Dalton Barbara Vimont
Trustee

Barbara is currently an Associate Legal Counsel for Akron General Health System. She also serves as Chairperson of the Health Law Section of the Akron Bar Association and is a Board member of the Society of Ohio Healthcare Attorneys. She has a degree in Health Information Management and Psychology and has a strong interest in the area of mental illness and developmental disabilities.


Gary L. Iler Joseph Parsons 
Trustee

Joseph is President of Joseph D. Parsons, LLC a Commercial Real Estate Consulting Practice. Mr. Parsons attended the University of Akron where he received his Law Degree from the C. Blake McDowell School of Law as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has served on numerous non-profit boards including President of The Akron Canton Regional Food Bank; President of the Summit County Mental Health Association and President of The Volunteer Center. Mr. Parsons is a member of the Akron Bar Association as well as a graduate of Leadership Akron. Mr. Parsons and his wife Lena live in New Franklin where he currently serves as President of City Council.


John F. Moore John F. Moore
Trustee

John served as a Senior Vice President in the banking industry for 30 years, and most recently retired as Regional Director of Hope Homes. He combines a strong financial background with his experience in the DD field.


John F. MooreJeff Grosenbaugh 
Trustee

Jeff has served the banking industry for many years and is currently Vice President/Senior Private Banker at Fifth Third Bank. His education includes a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and an MBA from Ashland University.
